Milepost 5

In collaboration with the Portland Affordable Housing Preservation Trust, Beam built the Milepost 5 residential project in two phases, with the intent to develop a creative community for working artists in NE Portland. With the first-phase Milepost 5 Lofts, a 54 unit condo project, Beam aspired to  create the most affordable (non-subsidized) condo units in the city implementing efficient design and offering smaller square footage options. The second phase, Milepost 5 Studios, consisted of 127 micro live/work units with shared common elements including art galleries and workshops, courtyard/event space, and theatre.
